Bleak-eyed warriors march to battle alongside cruel knights, merciless sorcerers and savage monsters of the chill wilds. Dark Elf soldiers stand amongst the elite of the Warhammer world, superior to most warriors, and overmatched by none. They are ruthless killers, masters of all the many ways of death. Whether you want to fight your battles with steel, poison, sorcery or sheer fighting ferocity, you will find the Dark Elf army a perfect weapon with which slaughter your foes. The Dark Elves were cast from their homeland of Ulthuan following a bitter civil war. They are now merciless raiders, dedicating their lives to the infliction of pain and misery on others. The Druchii, as they call themselves, are united in their hatred of all other living things, ruled over by Malekith – the dread Witch King of Naggaroth. Their army contains many highly-skilled warriors such as Black Ark Corsairs, Witch Elves of Khaine, Cold One Knights and fearsome Black Guard, as well as monstrous creatures including wild Manticores and many-headed War Hydras.

Dark Elves

From their jungle-continent of Lustria, the Lizardmen look outwards and see a world gone awry. As the ultimate enemies of the Dark Gods and the true inheritors of the planet, the Lizardmen have determined their only recourse is to go to war to set things right. It is their sacred duty to fulfil the enigmatic plans of the Old Ones, and any who stand in their way can expect no mercy. Heed the drums and the reptilian roars of the jungle and join the gathering Lizardmen armies as they march forth for battle. A Lizardmen host deployed for battle is a formidable sight, a striking battle force filled with colour and variety. A screen of nimble skirmishers that harass the enemy with blowpipe and javelin spreads out first, followed by rank after rank of merciless Saurus warriors, and their war leaders are battle-scarred veterans who will fight to the end. Saurus riding the slow-witted yet powerful Cold Ones form devastatingly powerful cavalry regiments. They are guided by the mightiest of mages, the Slann Mage-Priests, who unleash blasts of sorcerous energy the likes of which few other wizards can equal. Terrifying creatures such as the vicious, fire-breathing Salamanders, the towering Kroxigor and the gargantuan Stegadons fight alongside the Lizardmen. In the air above winged beasts screech, while out of the jungles stomp hulking reptilian monsters. They are pitiless killers, savage creatures of an elder age. Yet the Lizardmen do not war for plunder or territory, but instead fight for a higher cause – a world order laid out ages ago by their long-lost cosmic masters.

Lizardmen

The Norse are great warriors, and their Reavers are feared all over the world. Working themselves into a battle frenzy, an enraged Norseman is a terrifying opponent to face. The Norse Warhirds consists of all manner of terrifying warriors and monsters, from the lowly Bondsmen and Marauders that makes up the core of the armies, to the mighty Frost Giants and War Mammoths that makes the earth shake as they pass. Huscarls make up the elite, supported by immortal Einherjars, ferocious Ulfwerenar and frenzied Berserkers. Shield Maidens make stoic defenders, while the magical Valkyries swoop down upon their prey. When the armies of the Norse go to war, you better be prepared to run!

War Beast

Special Rules War Beasts are subject to the following special rules: Expendable, Swiftstride, Vanguard. Character Mount Some characters can ride war beasts, in which case the model uses the rules for Cavalry.  Ranks A unit of War Beasts is required to be five or more models wide in order to be able to gain rank bonus. Unit Strength War Beasts have a Unit Strength of 1. Line of Sight War Beasts have a Line of Sight value of 1. Base Size  War Beasts have an approved base size of 20x20mm, 25x25mm, 25x50mm and 40x40mm.
